Information about dangerous, prohibited and restricted goods for all courier and international postal services

While most goods can be delivered without restriction, there are a number of types of goods that are either prohibited or have restrictions on how they may be transported.

Courier services are able to carry a wide range of potentially dangerous goods if they are properly declared and packaged. Mail services have their own set of prohibted and restricted goods.

Please note that for courier services outside the UK a customs declaration will be needed.

Please also remember that for mail services all non-document items destined to countries outside of the UK require a customs label to be attached.

A CN22 label is required if the value of the goods is under £270: CN22 Label.

A CN23 label is required if the value of the goods is over £270: CN23 Label.
