Brexit Update - UK and EU Parliaments Approve the Withdrawal Agreement

The UK and EU Parliaments have approved a withdrawal agreement so the UK will formally leave the EU on 31st January.

The UK will then immediatly enter into the Transition Period that is scheduled to end on 31 December 2020.

Transition period

The Transition Period is intended to keep things as they are while the the UK and EU discuss their future relationship and agree a trade deal.

During the Transition Period, the UK will follow all current EU laws, including freedom of movement, Single Market and the Customs Union.

Therefore our clients can continue to ship to the EU with no change to how they and we currently operate.

The transition is due to last until 31 December 2020 and could be extended by up to two years if both the UK and EU agree to this.
